Singapore-based tea brand TWG has opened a new Tea WG concept store at Hong Kong’s IFC Mall as part of its regional expansion strategy.
Featuring the new Takeaway Tea concept, the IFC store has been refurbished with a tea wall lined with yellow Artisanal Tea Tins, displaying a treasure trove of single estate, exceptional harvest, and rare mixes.
The store also offers takeout tea from what TWG claims is the city’s largest tea menu, which includes more than 100 flavours.
According to the brand, each takeout tea is brewed fresh using infusion procedures and filtered water and is delivered hot or poured over full cubes of ice to ensure that each cup of tea is of consistently excellent quality. Each set costs HK$48 and includes a white sugar stick and a glass straw for iced teas to round off the tea-tasting experience.
Tea WG also intends to open other Tea WG Boutiques and Takeaway Tea concepts, including APM Mall, City Plaza, and a remodelled store in New Town Plaza.
Founded in 2018 in Singapore, Tea WG debuted in Hong Kong in 2011. In 2020, the company expanded its digital footprint with the opening of more than 20 online stores.
