A catastrophic fire burned many businesses on Hwy 7 in January just outside of Hot Springs Village, including Melinda’s Cafe and Coffee. That certainly didn’t discourage owners, David and Alanna Owen as they are ready to open their new location of Melinda’s at 372 East Glazypeau Road, southern border of Hot Springs Village.
They officially open July 5, and will be open Monday through Saturday 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., closed only on Sunday.
They offer dine in and also call in to pick up some their marvelous breakfasts at 501-984-5393.
Morning eats include cinnamon rolls, kolaches, scones, croissants, sausage rolls, muffins and bagels along with quiche, paninis, tacos and waffles.
Interested in some light starters, perhaps to take out for light snacking or your party hors d’oeuvres. House made pimento cheese topped with warm bacon, jam served with fresh grilled bread or seasonal deviled eggs.
Sandwiches include chicken and tuna salad, pimento cheese, with a wide selection of Panini’s including country club, Reuben, Peter Cottontail, Hereford, Hawaiian, smoked bologna and Frenchman varieties. Don’t miss their Italian BLT.
Yes Melinda’s has both Caesar and Chef salads and a bowl or cup of a soup of the day. Try a lunch combo of 1/2 sandwich and a coup of soup, salad and a cup of soup, Quiche and a cup of soup. Melinda’s Trio is served with chicken salad, fruit, pasta salad and mini muffin and you can add soup if you choose.
Do they have coffee? With nearly 20 choices, you should find one just for you. Brewed coffees, Lattes, Cappuccinos and more and frozen Frappes.
Congratulations on Melinda’s reopening.
