The owner of a popular vegan cafe have teased they could be opening up a second location – and it’s pretty central to say the least with locals going wild over their announcement.
Uploading a video to Instagram, the couple behind Plant Blonde teased a potential new cafe coming to the city centre as they showed Buchanan Street on a sunny day – as well as the sign for the famous street – with the pair looking happy as they hugged in front of an unknown shop front location.
The team behind the popular venture currently have a shop located on Hyndland Street in Partick, but we may not have long to wait until we can enjoy their bakes away from the west end.

Specialising in plant-based biscuits, bakes and dishes, and not to mention their seriously colourful cakes, the couple behind the business and their team have won many awards. Just recently, Plant Blonde was recognised by Stag Web in its 30 Best Vegan Takeaways in the UK for 2023.
Not only that, their raspberry and lemon empire biscuit won the Bronze biscuit in central Scotland accolade with the team also winning the customer choice finalist award.
Taking to the comments of the teaser video, people were ecstatic and buzzing to hopefully have a Plant Blonde in the city centre.
One said: “If you’re opening a new cafe on/near Buchanan st I’m going to be so buzzing cause yous will be so near my office.”
Another added: “Soooo exciting guys smashed it.”
“No way!? this is going to be terrible for the waistline but i am so incredibly proud of you both!!” said a third hungry local.
