One of the most prominent celebrities on social media platforms is Madison Beer. After conquering the world of singing, Beer made headways into another popular form of content creation: streaming. Although initially skeptical and hesitant about entering streaming, Beer leaped and set up her channel. Part of her content is playing games, yet it looks like she will not be playing this game anymore.

During one gaming stream, Madison Beer announced she will not be returning to Only Up after Beer was left frustrated with how punishing the game was.

Only Up is one of the hottest games at the moment. The task is to make your way up a series of obstacles as they climb to the top. Sounds pretty simple right? That is where you will be wrong. The game is known to be notoriously difficult, resembling a classic climbing game, Get Over It. After getting word of its popularity, several streamers set out to beat the game, a list which included Madison Beer.

As the stream started, Beer remarked she may not be as good at the game because she did not have a chance to play it. It was her first stream after a short pause when she was not home. Once the game started, Beer took a moment to tweak settings, and off she went. Picking up right where she left off, the singer made short work of the steel pipes, breezing through them. She made sure to carefully make her way past bits she found difficult.

For nearly an hour, Beer kept climbing through different areas, making good progress as she went along. She also seemed to notice areas that seemed different than when she last played the game. However, it did not stop her. She made easy work out of her obstacles and pushed on.

What went wrong took place shortly after taking the drone to the windmill. As the drone hovered, Beer jumped out, exclaiming, “Why did I do that? Why would I ever have done that?” She narrowly reached the ledge, grabbing on at the last moment. Following this, as she began the sprint for the next platform, the jump went awry, and her character plummeted back down.

After landing, Beer decided it was time to stop with Only Up, saying, “I would like to just say rest in peace to my Only Up career. It was fun while it lasted. We tried. We had a good run but I will be laying this game to rest. Goodbye Only Up.” Once Beer exited the game, she burst out laughing at the dramatic exit. Following this, she began playing Valorant and continued the stream.

Beer’s streaming career so far

Beer is among the most talented singers in the industry. After producing popular songs, she took a chance with streaming, exploring uncharted territory for her. Starting Twitch for her was a way of keeping things from being too repetitive. In addition to making music, something she holds dear, streaming became something she enjoyed.

During an interview with xQc, Beer said, “I’m at a point where I’ve been doing the same thing for so long. I just feel like there’s so much stuff out there that is fun…this has been so fun and I’ve only done two weeks of streams.” Along the way, Beer posted incredible numbers on her channel, getting somewhere near 30,500 viewers with each stream, and a total of nearly 400,000 followers on the channel. It looks like the beginning of a successful career on the streaming platform.
